ABOUT

Julie Harmegnies (b.1997) is a designer whose work begins with observation: of materials, spaces, and the subtle emotional traces they leave behind. With a background in interior and product design, her practice explores the space between form and feeling, often guided more by instinct than by outcome.

She works intuitively, allowing raw textures, offcuts, and overlooked fragments to lead the process. Whether through objects or spatial installations, her approach is quiet yet intentional, shaped by a sensitivity to memory, rhythm, and presence.

Her pieces are not made to explain, but to hold space for ambiguity, stillness, and emotional resonance. She sees design as a way of paying attention, of listening to what is unresolved, unfinished, or on the verge of becoming something else.
